Description
First Bloom — Camellia Sinensis Flower Tisane
The tea plant flowers once a year. In Menghai — one of Yunnan’s oldest and most biodiverse tea-producing counties, home to ancient old-growth tea forests — the Camellia sinensis flowers are harvested by hand in autumn. These small white blossoms are dried and preserved whole.
Menghai’s terroir, shaped by its subtropical climate and ancient forest ecosystem, gives the flowers a distinctly wild, honeyed quality that sets them apart from tea flowers sourced elsewhere. Naturally caffeine-free — the caffeine concentrates in the leaf, not the flower — First Bloom is Teabelly’s evening offering and a natural caffeine-free option for F&B programs that want to stay within the world of authentic tea.
